Bissell 2252 CleanView Swivel Upright Vacuum Review

Here’s my review of the Bissell 2242.

My goal in purchasing this vacuum was two fold. I needed a new vacuum as the little shark stick vacuum we had been using for years finally gave out, but also because I was having my home cleaned every 2 weeks, and their vacuum was doing a MUCH better job than mine.

We have two types of dog hair floating around my home, the short, straight hairs of our beagle, and the long thin floating hairs of our border collie. This vacuum has been a life saver for picking up BOTH types.

Shipping from Amazon was fast (of course), and the vacuum was easily assembled out of the box. Total time was around 10 minutes.

This is not a cordless vacuum, but I feel like it’s so powerful that the cord is worth the trouble. It’s also been nice not the have to rush because of battery life as our home is a bit sprawling.

It comes with several standard hose attachments, including the little vacuum head with a roller brush for furniture. The base of the vacuum that houses the brush has adjustable heights that are easy to switch between. The collection tank is large and easy to empty with a button latch on the bottom.

I have been super impressed with the suction. This little baby leaves those gorgeous streaks across the carpet, and the head of it is nice and wide to cover more area quickly.

Definitely a worthwhile purchase.
